SPACE (Strategic Planning, Architecture, Controls & Education) is a computer aided environment that is being developed for egovernment and ebusiness agility at a global level.
A user selects a service (e.g., mobile health clinic) for a given country (e.g., Nepal) and quickly generates extensive information needed by decision makers (e.g., Executive Summary, Business Plan, a Strategic Plan, Requirements Document, Project Management Plan, and RFP and a Working Portal).
It provides a set of powerful tools that covers the entire "Learn-Plan-Do-Check" Cycle instead of one narrow area. These tools will help you to quickly develop strategic plans, requirements documents, solutions architectures, project management plans and RFP and a Working Portal. Tremendous educational and learning capabilities are also provided in the aforementioned areas.
Online Training: A series of Short online courses on eGovernement and eBusiness, supported by SPACE for hands-on experiments.
Computer Aided Consulting: You develop a solution sketch by using SPACE and we help you to finalize the solution.
SAAS (Software as a Service): You develop a solution by using SPACE and, if needed, use your own time and staff to enhance/customize the solution.
It allows individuals involved in the public as well as private sector to do more with less (less money, less time, less chances of failure and less trained staff). Failure rates of ICT projects are between 50 - 70% (Standish Reports) and reach 85% in developing countries because of reinvention of the wheel. These countries cannot afford expensive trial and error projects and do not have the funds for expensive consultants. SPACE attempts to address this problem by providing a standards-based automated approach.
The users of SPACE are the individuals involved in launching initiatives in healthcare, education, economic development, digital cities, SDGs, B2B and G2G communications, and many more in the developing countries as well as the underserved sectors in the developed countries.
