Capacity Building
for MDGs
Capacity building refers to
assistance provided to countries and
institutions for developing skills, competencies
or performance. The United Nations provides
capacity building as a part of its programs to
member countries. In addition, non-governmental
organizations (NGOs) offer capacity building
services.
The CITO (Certificate for IT
Officials) program is being developed to educate
the IT officials in the public and private
sectors of the developing countries.
